What is this? - Eremoblatta subdiaphana

What is this? - Eremoblatta subdiaphana
Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, California, USA
August 11, 2009
Size: 1 cm
There were many of this little bugs flying and hopping around. I could barely keep up with them. My first instinct when I saw one on the ground is that it was a roach but I have never seen any fly and they didn't scurry away.

Thanks!
Didn't realize this was the same insect. Guess because it was much larger.
