Found a few groups of these in a field in Port St Lucie near the Savannah Preserve State Park.

We currently have these Florida red and yellow guys
in the guide under a different species here. If you get back to this location, get some images of the adults please.

Not beetles.
Probably nymphs of large milkweed bugs, Oncopeltus fasciatus, but I can't rule out another species, or even the "cotton stainer" family from this one image alone. Definitely not beetles, nymphs of a true bug instead.
