Definitely Agallia
I'm thinking A. constricta as does not look as "fat" as A. quadripunctata. That's just my thinking. Andy will clarify. He will probably ask you if you have clover :)

Well
Dr. Hamilton has given conflicting descriptions of the difference between these two species.

Here he says the difference is Constrica has only 2 spots while Quadripunctata has 4:

While here he identifies a 4 spotted specimen as Constricta because it is slender:

I don't like to assume anything, but it would be nice to have some clarification on this irregularity.

.

A. constricta
Narrow wings trumps 4 spots!

Thanks
Thanks Andy

As always...
Thanks for the clarification Andy!

Locatioin and Clover Answers
It was in New Jersey - post edited to reflect location.

Habitat was a broad border of mixed, wild plants, bushes and trees around a corn field. There was some clover in the mix.

Not an expert
But the pattern and spots makes me think Agallia quadripunctata.

Also, having a state listed in the location might help. I'm assuming this was photographed in NJ?
