I found this under a rock near a creek bed up in the woods.

Scutigera homa
This is almost certainly Scutigera homa, the Arizona house centipede. Unlike the widely invasive S. coleoptrata, S. homa is native. I personally only know of it from southern Arizona and am unsure how far its range extends beyond that. It basically looks like a patternless orange S. coleoptrata. As far as I know, this species hasn't been represented on BugGuide yet. For whatever reason, there are actually very few photos of them on the internet entirely. I am not sure how to flag this photo for attention though, or if it must simply wait until someone notices.

Dendrothereua homa (Chamberlin, 1942)
Nice centipede! The species is now referred to as Dendrothereua homa (Chamberlin, 1942). A nice article that discusses the Scutigeromorpha (including Dendrothereua) is: "Phylogenetics of scutigeromorph centipedes (Myriapoda: Chilopoda) with implications for species delimitation and historical biogeography of the Australian and New Caledonian faunas" by Greg Edgecombe and Gonzalo Giribet
