April 29, 2008
Size: Body length about 11 mm
This bee was on Honey Mesquite at Upper Tubb Canyon, elevation about 2000'. The wing venation is not adequate. I'm not familiar with this face and clypeus. Thanks in advance for any help with this bee.

Female, it is always a good idea to add that information when you have it. I did it for you this time.

Colletes
Thanks so much, Dr. Ascher. The face looked heart-shaped to me. This Colletes looks very similar to a Colletes you identified for me previously that was also on Honey Mesquite, #283189. I have tried to compare to see if they are the same species, though taken at different places. Is it possible to tell?
