Synonyms and other taxonomic changes

First described in 1908 by August Busck as Epermenia albapunctella

Food

Larvae have erroneously been reported to feed on fir (Abies) and spruce (Picea). Confirmed hosts are members of the parsley family (Apiaceae): Osmorhiza occidentalis, Ligusticum scoticum, and Heracleum sp. (per Gaedike 1996, Lepidopterorum Catalogus New Series, Fascicle 48)
