Synonyms and other taxonomic changes
First described in 1900 by Mary E Murtfeldt as Epermenia pimpinella
Explanation of Names
The host plant was known at the time this species was described as Pimpinella integerrima, though Taenidia integerrima is now considered to be the correct name.
Food
The larvae mine the leaves of Yellow Pimpernel (Taenidia integerrima), Golden Alexanders (Zizia aurea), and Chervil (Chaerophyllum procumbens).
