Spider on my window - Araneus marmoreus - female

Spider on my window - Araneus marmoreus - Female
Iron, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA
August 16, 2009
spider on my window. Web was on outside of window, and spider on web, between web and window. Body about 3/4" - 1" diameter. Larger than most spiders I see around my yard - thought it was worth a pic. Since it was so close to house, would like to know if dangerous.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Not at all dangerous (unless you're a fly!) Would love to see more images of this beauty, from both sides if you can get her.

Yet another color pattern of
Araneus marmoreus. We'll move this one to the guide and to the info page and we'll frass the other.
