Immature 'Something'

Immature 'Something'
47.63024N 52.68733W (WGS84), Logy Bay, Northeast Avalon, Newfoundland/Labrador, Canada
August 17, 2009
Size: 5mm when straight
This is obviously immature but, other than that, I had no idea where to put it other than here. I' guess a fly larva but that's a real guess. One tiny 'leg' is visable. It moved by inching along. I caught this in a 'blind' sweep of the grass in our yard and photographed it after putting it on a white plastic container.

Syrphid fly larva
No doubt the larva of one of the aphid-eating flower flies (Syrphidae).
