Lichen Moth - Crambidia xanthocorpa

Lichen Moth - Crambidia xanthocorpa
Pickens County, Georgia, USA
August 14, 2009
Size: length 14 mm.
Found at porch lights.

The best match I could find after checking Covell, MPG and BG is Yellow-headed Lichen Moth -
Crambidia cephalica.

I would really appreciate any comments on the ID of this moth.

Send the Photos to James Adams....
He lists a hypothetical 8053.1 as Crambidia near cephalica. Jim Vargo also has an unknown white Crambidia which we list at 8053.99 at MPG. Your moth may fall into the same group. The best person to make that determination is James Adams, keeper of the Georgia list.
