Leafhopper - Scaphoideus

Leafhopper - Scaphoideus
Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA
August 12, 2009
A nicely patterned leafhopper. Any possible ID for it? Is this a color variation of the Orientus ishidae? Thanks.

ID confirmed by K.G.A. Hamilton
Moved from Leafhoppers.

Moved
Moved from True Bugs, Cicadas, Hoppers, Aphids and Allies. It's best to post leafhoppers directly to Cicadellidae.

Don't Think So
O. ishidae has that "web-like" thing on its wings. The head looks more like one of the Deltocephalinae leafhoppers to me. Wish I could help you more, but I just do not recognize the pattern on your specimen.
