Burrowing Bug - Amnestus

Burrowing Bug - Amnestus
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
August 19, 2009
Size: 1-2mm
Perhaps Orius?

Moved
Moved from Amnestus.

pusillus or basidentatus... if indeed no larger than 2 mm.....
...then has to be the latter

Moved
Moved from Amnestus pallidus. Not enough visible to say which species this is.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Not pirate bug:-)
This is a tiny burrower bug! Congrats for getting such a crisp and detailed image, they are difficult subjects.

Perhaps
If this is not an Amnestus pallidus, then it should be.

Is it freshly molted or something?
I thought most Orius species had black and white coloring? Unless this is a species new to bugguide... Although the body looks too elongated for any other genus.
