Damsel - Enallagma signatum - male

Damsel - Enallagma signatum - Male
Lake Greenwood, Greenwood County, South Carolina, USA
July 22, 2009
Found while wading in a calm part of the lake. Seems like the forktails have yellows and oranges, but I don't have any ID confidence with damsels yet.

Moved
Moved from Damselflies.

Somehow I glossed over the bluets (having "blue" in my head). From looking at the Lam (1) and Beaton (2) books, I like that ID.

What do you think
of male, Enallagma signatum? Sweet!
