Size clinches it.
Obsoleta is almost twice that size--and yes I seem to see the punctures, although I must say that when I came across punctulata out your way last week (I was in SE AZ from August 12-18) I was surprised at how obscure the puntures were compared to other individuals from the east and even the White Mtns of AZ.

Ok, so if you noticed that, too
I'm going to move this to punctulata

I concur...
The "all green" tiger beetles in SE AZ in addition to punctulata are the the green morph of nigrocoerulea, and pimeriana. I am confident this is neither of those.

Is the subsp. ok?
it fits Peter's comment exactly.

Subspecies
is exactly right if you accept the validity of the subspecies concept within the Cicindelidae. I think it makes sense to use the subspecific names, recognizing the fact that using these names may not match up with the latest thinking regarding what a subspecies is from an evolutionary unit point of view. But it is so much more fun to call these guys by their subspecific names and plus you can get a "lifer" subspecies out of punctulata. And by the way--according to Pearson's book, some taxonomists believe that the punctulata in SE AZ is a "good species" let alone subspecies.
