Amethyst Dancer - Argia pallens - male

Amethyst Dancer - Argia pallens - Male
Rincon Creek, Pima County, Arizona, USA
May 14, 2008
Pretty sure this is an Amethyst Dancer, but would like some confirmation as it is a new species for bugguide. It matches the description and image in the new "Dragonflies and Damselflies of the West" pretty closely.

Moved from Dancers. Confirmation by William Edwards. Nice work!

Thanks
folks - it was a cool looking little damsel indeed. Haven't ever seen another!
