pretty moths
most likey they have come down from the trees to burrow and pupate, next spring you will see the moths, who look like this

possibly, but also...
I think this is
Anisota peigleri
which is found alongside
A. senatoria
in this part of GA. The two very similar larvae can be separated by
A. peigleri
having much more enlarged dorsalateral scoli, making it have a much more spiny appearance than
A. senatoria
which this individual shows a prominence of.
