This little beastie was sitting on my shoulder when my wife went to give me a hug and *STING*! Anybody know what the heck it is?

Little Spiny Caterpillar
We call this little tiny caterpillar a ( packsaddle ) on the farm. I'm not sure what the correct identification term is but any farmer in east tennessee calls it a packsaddle. They also pack a powerful sting !
