I hope
that nobody smashed it. I was talking with my sister who lives in Cleveland, TN this past week, and was trying to get her to capture and send me a mystaceus from her yard. She tells me that when she sees them, she knocks them to the ground and stomps on them. I was horrified. I had to lecture her on the beauty and benefit of these creatures. She still didn't agree to send me one.

Yes,
that's bad! A lot of spiders end up squished. I've become the neighborhood spider remover. I feel like I have to lecture every kid I see now-a-days. A lot of them want to kill every bug they see, and I'm sure they're learning that from their parents.
