Coproporus ventriculus

Size: 3 mm
Found at a lighted sheet during a night-time survey. I can post views of the ventral side as well, if that is helpful.
Based on comments on our other specimen to date of Coproporus laevis--the only one in the East with pronotum, elytra, etc. non-punctate:

This may be laevis, but it is
This may be laevis, but it is hard to tell if the pronotum is impunctate. To be laevis the pronotum must be clear of even micropunctures (small, without setae) and microsculpture. Both of these features are found on the more widespread (though NC is within the range of laevis) ventriculus. Also, the antennae are more sharply bicolored in this photo than I am used to with laevis but that may fall within the range of variation. Unless checked under a scope, I'd leave this at genus level.

As far as I can see with the new close-ups, I think this is ventriculus, based on the micropunctures on the pronotum. I'm not entirely convinced that the other 'laevis' on here is actually that species either but I don't have the detailed photos to confirm.
