Barklouse - Hyalopsocus

Barklouse - Hyalopsocus
Gorham, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
August 11, 2009
Size: 4mm body, 5.5mm incl wing

Tom,
your Hyalopsocus sp. looks "identical" to the one I posted. These are not common here in Texas, but I have managed to collect 2.

Maybe the 2 specimens
you collected will one day be described, and we'll get a name for this barklouse:-)

Hyalopsocus sp. (undescribed)
Ed Mockford det.

Moved from Psocidae.

Undescribed sp.
Now I wish I would have saved the specimen:-(
