HELP GET RID of them..
I found your post about the larder bug, I have seen them in my home for the last 2 years mainly under the stove / fridge some times in the pantry Bread or crackers I just started seeing them in the laundry room.. they are getting in my cats food when they are out about the house the cat will start to get real freaked out.. My question HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM ? ARE THEY PUTTING ANY KIND OF GERM ON MY DISHES ? HElp Babbs11@comcast.net

The best defense against larder beetles
is to keep a very clean house. Vacuum, sweep, mop! Pull out fridge and stove every few weeks and clear out all food crumbs. Keep all pet food in sealed containers. Clean daily in your pet's feeding area.

I have never heard of diseases being transmitted by larder beetles.
