Very nice. I'd gladly trade you a cat-faced spider for a pink Marbled Orbweaver any day.

 
I still haven't found any cat
I still haven't found any cat-faced spiders this year. I might make a trip to southern Alberta and see if I can collect any down there.

Speaking of A. marmoreus, Larry Weber, in his book Spiders of the North Woods writes that he observed one pink specimen change to an orange color as the season went on. I'm going to keep an eye on this one for as long as it's still around and see if it goes through any similar color changes.

[edit - I went back a few days after this picture to check on the spider, but by then it was gone.]
