Wasp found on my leg - - Urocerus albicornis - Female
White Bear Lake, MN, Washington County, Minnesota, USA
August 27, 2009
Size: 2 in
We have a huge hole in the middle of our back yard that was created by wasps or bees. I saw them swarming at the entrance one morning but wasn't close enough to identify them. We also have nests in our vents. I'm wondering if this is a mud dauber or one from the ground nest. I haven't found any photos of wasps with this type of white antenae.
