Garden Bug - Stiretrus anchorago

Garden Bug - Stiretrus anchorago
Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Tarrant County, Texas, USA
August 15, 2009
I found this insect crawling around on some Zinnias. It crawled down seemly
to hide from me between a leaf stem and a Zinnia stem as far as it could.
Rear end of course, was still showing. I have no idea what this is. NOTE:
There is NO border on this image. Misted edges (of distractions) are not a border.

Borders
As mentioned on your other images, please NO fancy borders, just crop the image.

Moved from ID Request.

Check out the Anchor Bug
It can be a few different colors and have different markings. They're predators, eat a lot of different garden pests.
