Bee Fly - Lepidanthrax disjunctus

Bee Fly - Lepidanthrax disjunctus
San Pedro House east of Sierra Vista, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 27, 2009
This bee was on Trailing Four O'Clock. The white bars on top of the abdomen would catch the light and would flash back and forth from white to silver as the bee flew back and forth. This was quite striking.
