T. canicularis
This is most likely T. canicularis, as there are fewer species in Mass. with which it can be confused.
G. Bunker is very familiar with Cicadas from Mass. and I suggest checking out his website.

it is a Dog Day Cicada, judging by the green in the wing etc.
