I guess that a genus placement would be safe. Even the adult moths of these 2 Probole species are difficult to tell apart.

Looks just like the image
of Probole amicaria in Wagner's old book on Geometrids, but he states he doesn't know of characteristics which will separate it from Probole alienaria. One of the caterpillars on that page looks exactly like yours. The other doesn't look anything like yours!
