Grapevine Looper - Eulithis

Grapevine Looper - Eulithis
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
August 20, 2005
Size: body 13 mm
Came to UV lights.

Moved
Moved from Eulithis.

Grapevine Looper
Geometridae. Either Eulithis diversilineata or E. gracilineata. The description in Covell's guide is not sufficient to reliably distinguish the specimens shown at CBIF but there still might be diagnostic differences between the two (I'm hoping). Some thoughts are mentioned here. Any extra info appreciated.

Thanks. I have a second image, but pose is same.
The surrounding trees are mixed conifer/deciduous. There *is* a Concord grape arbor within 100 yds.

I'm moving this to genus page.
