Seed "weevil."
Excellent shot of a bruchid or "seed weevil." They were in their own family (Bruchidae) until recently, when they were lumped in with the leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae). Richard White's field guide to beetles (Peterson Field Guide series) includes a color image of the male of this species, so you might check that reference. Again, great shot of what be the most colorful of the usually drab bruchids:-)
