Syrphid.
I'm not up on eastern species and realize that Florida is a special case for these flies, but based on the striped thorax, I'd say Palpada for this one.

I'm not sure how to do that . I've tagged the image , navigated to the Syrphid page , but am not seeing any "move tagged image" anywhere .
