Giant Stonefly?

Giant Stonefly?
Bathurst, Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada
August 20, 2009
Size: 5cm?
This critter was clinging high up on a wall at a tire place. This is a poor telephoto in bright sunlight. I've no idea of the real length, but it is a large insect. I leafed through Eric's field guide, and this critter looks like a giant stonefly, Pteronarcys sp.

Moved from Stoneflies.

Probably Perlidae
Pteronarcys would have an extensive series of crossveins in the anal area of the forewing (the top righthand area of the wing in your photo). This looks like a large perlid.
