longhorn beetle
Hi Skip,
I would have to guess give or take about 8 mm.
The light that I have outside is high up. Where I stand is very dark. I look for a shadow on the wall, try to focus on it and have no idea what what I'm trying to take a picture of until after I take the photo and look at the LCD screen. It is impossible to measure with this crazy method. I'm always amazed that anything comes out at all since most of it is only a few mm. Were you see "came to lights" on my photos that is how it was taken. Sort of a photographic adventure. I've been doing a lot of this lately since there is not much around in the daytime.
