Pterostichus amethystinus

Size: 11 mm
Keyed via Lindroth; a relatively small species with weakly protuding front pronotal angles (unlike similar P. herculeanus) and a violaceous sheen; one of the many Pterostichus specimens collected from under/within rotten logs in the forest.
