Arctogeophilus umbraticus
Centipedes like this from the southeast are usually Arctogephilus umbraticus. The large head with fangs that extend beyond the front of the cephalic plate is important, and it has 47 or so pairs of legs.
I wouldn't have recognized it before but this summer I'm surveying the geophilids of Great Smoky Mountains NP so I'm becoming more familiar with the southeastern species. This one is the most common geophilomorph in the southeast but doesn't go as far north as New England.
