Citrine Forktail - Ischnura hastata - female

Citrine Forktail - Ischnura hastata - Female
Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia, USA
September 23, 2005
Along power lines. This was the smallest damselfly I have seen so far. At first I thought it was A Southern Sprite, then a Citrine Forktail and now I am not sure what I have. ID possible from this image? Help appreciated.

Yes, we agree with Citrine
The thorax is not sprite-like. But the combination of very small size with black abdomen and olive thorax is a perfect match for Ischnura hastata, female, Lam (1) page 84. Nice image. Nice addition to the Guide. Everyone seems to capture images of the male or the orange female.

Wow, that's great!
I was getting ready to give up on the damselflies but I can't resist them. Thank you so much for your help.
