Epistrophe grossulariae
Epistrophe grossulariae .... female.
Markings on tergites 2,3 and 4 widening before overlapping side margin. Very noticeable on tergite 2. Usually narrowing before overlapping in Syrpus (knabi markings don`t narrow on tergites 3 and 4 but all Syrphus have markings on tergite 2 narrowing before overlapping side margin). Antennae totally jet black and frons with jet black, long isosceles triangle from directly above antennae to ocellar triangle.....
