found in minneota garage, beetle? with bobbing head - Bolbocerosoma bruneri
Inver Grove Heights, Dakota County, Minnesota, USA
September 9, 2009
Size: .25"
Can't help much, my dad found it in our garage, and he knows i don't condone killing bugs. I always relocate them, or just leave them. this guy was very active, scurrying around, but did not fly away, the picture i took was in an open cup, and he couldn't escape. He (or she) had two round balls on the end of each antenna, and he would bob his head down pretty often. in addition, he was just as tall as he was long

Bolbocerasoma bruneri
or something closeby

yes
ID is correct. spelling is Bolbocerosoma. Cool beetle not usually seen as they spend a majority of their lives in deep burrows.
