Master of Camouflage - Crambus leachellus

Master of Camouflage - Crambus leachellus
Tsawwassen, SusannahA, British Columbia, Canada
September 12, 2009
Size: about 1 cm.
These were in the dunes just off the beach, among the grasses. When they fly (short distances), they are white. Parked, they are almost invisible.

It looks like a Crambid (Grass veneer?) to me, but I couldn't find an exact match.

Moved from ID Request.

Possibly 5357 - Crambus leachellus
Difficult to be sure because of the reed interrupting the view at critical point. (no rsvp, thanks)
