This was identified as an Eristalini syrphid. Can it be placed to genus? The eyes are different than any of the Eristalini in the guide.

Male Eristalinus aeneus!
So, not Eristalis, but Eristalinus!
Sometimes also called Lathrytopthalmus (or something like that! :-))
Introduced European species!
