This is a male tree cricket
...It is either a Broad-winged or Snowy tree cricket. I'll see if I can zoom in on the antennae later today. If there is dark red extending up a bit on the antennae -- it's a broad-winged tree cricket. Another way to ID would be the black marks on the front of the first 2 segments of the antennae -- but they are not visible from these photos.

Great photos.

This is a male tree cricket
Thank you! I cut down the pics before uploading them so I just zoomed in to one of them (I took a bunch!) and there is a bit of red going from the top of it's head up just a tiny bit on the antennae. Looks like the top of it's head is red (not solid tho, in some pattern I can't make out) and then the red just "bleeds" a bit into the antennae. Does that make it a broad-winged tree cricket? I can upload the full version too if that helps.

Cropping
What would help the most when uploading images to BugGuide is to crop the image. Please crop you images closer to "just the bug".

Cropping
Thanks for the info John. I added a new pic. I hope this one's better? First time posting here :-)

Yes
That is better. If you want you can update the 2 already posted by cropping them and clicking "edit" under each image and uploading the modified images.

Yes, there is enough red extending up the
antennae to make it a Broad-winged tree cricket. If it were a Snowy TC, there would be no red extending that far.

Thank you!!
I really appreciate the help in the learning curve of this site, the quick ID on my neat bug and being here!
