In some places the Blue Dasher is called the Blue Pirate.....eithe way its stil P. longipennis.....just thought i'd throw that in...

Ah! The pain of English names
Blue Dancer would be a damselfly in the genus Argia. This is sometimes called the Blue Dasher. But it is definitely a dragonfly in the genus Pachydiplax, specifically P. longipennis
