E. rotundopuncta is very close morphologically to E. mutata - which is also shown by the DNA of both. So far DNA has identified about two dozen E. mutata and about half that many individual E. rotundopuncta from my summer collection. Any interested can access the BOLD site by registering and talking nice to the gate keeper and access the data including images. Only about 1/3 of the moth specimens I have sent to Ontario have been run so many more results will be coming out.
