apparently you arrived at Eupithecia castellata?
...I just saw it listed as such on MPG!

That gives me my new guess!

 
Confusion............
I do not remember why I ended up posting this photo under 7462 at MPG. It might have been due to the similarity of this specimen with a photo by Gary McDonald. However, his moth is presently identified (almost) at BOLD as Eupithecia longipalpata.

listed in California Moths Database for your area, there may be additional greenish species in the region. If possible, could you send me a taller photo for use at MPG?
