Red moth - Lycomorpha

Red moth - Lycomorpha
Walnut Canyon NM near Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona, USA
September 14, 2009
Size: about 25mm length
Day-flying moth along a dry canyon trail.

Moved
Moved from Cisthenina.

I would place this under
Lycomoprha. Possibly L. fulgens. I don't believe L. regulus is known from AZ.

Lycomorpha or Ptychoglene sp.
I brightened the photo to get a better look at it. It would probably require a view of the hindwings to decide on a species. (no rsvp, thanks)
