Why Frass all of these
especially after Eric took the time to explain the differences. Not many images in the guide from Penn, and none from there in October. One of these ought to be good enough to keep in the guide for the record, we would think.

I agree
I agree with John and Jane, so I moved them back to Augochlorini. Jo, feel free to send one or two to frass if you want, but it is nice to keep some of these fine images in the guide.

Okay
Hi ^_^

Well, I didn't Frass them-not sure who did-I figure it's the site's decision on what's going and what's not-to tell you the truth-I was looking through the frass yesterday and saw alot of beautiful photos that seemed like they would be nice to keep-esp. some of the jumping spiders. (they were are way better than my photos!!) But I can never have too many great photos of Jumping Spiders-I love them. LOL!

I'll leave them alone and you can decide what you like best.

Jo ^_^

Halictid
Many Halictid bees are metallic green See: this page. May be Eric can narrow it down, but I still can't tell the difference between Agapostemon and the Augochlorini tribe.

Augochlorini.
Agapostemon species generally have a more granular appearance, especially on the thorax, so they are not as reflective and shiny. This specimen is either Augochlora sp., Augochlorella sp., or Augochloropsis sp. I need a microscope to see the differences, but a bee specialist might know from your images.

Thank-you-it's a start ^_^
