New for New York.
Found flying low to the ground near Camphorweeds in back dune area on beach.

Finally found this species yesterday at Lakehurst, Ocean Co., NJ mixed in with a bunch of E. inda.

Save it for me! Is it Stephanucha or Euphoria--the taxonomy on BG seems to be inconsistent? Phil H says Stephanucha.

I saw that the 2001 MD specimen was called Stephanucha, and Phil uses that name as well. BG has Euphoria, so I don't know.

I should have looked first. And thanks, Rich--that's a really cool beetle! That's at least two great beetles you have found around here that I have never seen alive.
