Acmaeodera paradisjuncta - Acmaeodera opacula
Wilcox Playa Wildlife Area, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
September 16, 2009
2nd of 3 images of what I think is Acmaeodera paradisjuncta. Can someone confirm?

Amaeodera disjuncta.
Acmaeodera paradisjuncta is not common and has a limited range.

This one looks like
the A. disjuncta that Dennis Haines confirmed...

now I'm going back through all my red-bottomed ones, I guess there ar three possibilities then. After seeing a mating attempt between A. amabilis and A. rubronotata, and anotherone that involved a sp with red and A. alicia all in Pima Canyon, I'm having suspicions...

Moved from ID Request.

according to the info page
this one should not be in AZ. can you tell me the difference to A. amabilis, please?
