Argiope argentata - female

Argiope argentata - Female
Eaton Canyon wash, Los Angeles County, California, USA
September 21, 2009
Looks like probably A. argentata, or perhaps another Argiope?
The web was between branchlets of a Scale broom (Lepidospartum squamatum), a smart place to be for a spider at this time of year; that plant is one of the late-flowering Asteraceae and thus visited by many insects.
Would appreciate some ID-help!

Argiope argentata
Looks like it to me. I don't think there are others that have this appearance? That one has a nice pattern/color. Nice shot.
