Bradynobaenidae - Chyphotes aenigmus - Male
Borrego Springs, San Diego County, California, USA
June 6, 1991
Size: BL ~ 12 mm
We found this wasp in Borrego Springs many years ago. Based on wing venation we have tentatively identified to genus Chyphotes. Are we on the right track?

Right on! Species ID almost always requires looking at the genitalia.
