Apologies if this is covered somewhere! I noticed when I put identified images found in my home state of California (southern calif.) that California lights up if there was no previous specimen found.

I recently put a common buckeye in that was photographed by my friend in Arkansas, but I do not see Arkansas light up :)

Take your time, i'll check back here and there. Just wanted to alert you. Maybe I typed something in wrong.

thank you so much for this wonderful site!

Caching
This is some sort of a browser-caching issue. I notice it when I recently looked at the map, added an image in a new state, and went back to the map. The update was not visible.

You can tell your browser to update the whole page, and that always brings up the fixed map for me. Try to press CTRL+R or CTRL+F5 (or maybe it's the SHIFT key?).

Data
I should have mentioned, it "does" put a box in the line for Arkansas!
Just doesn't light up the state.

I have noticed this too,
but eventually it seems to go through - it's as though there's a delay in the mapping. Maybe Mike can shed some light on this?
If you go back now, you'll see Arkansas is colored.

Data
You're right! It is there now! (wow after I posted that, I rushed to a map, it also occured to me I may not know where Arkansas was LOL) But no, whew!
